How Our Awnings Work
Comprised of retractable fabric canopies attached to retractable folding arms, our awnings extend from your home or business façade. Each arm contains twin heavy-duty sheathed stainless-steel springs that attach to high-tensile intertwined steel cables.
When the motor is operated, these arms push against the front profile, or lead rail, and keeping the fabric taut for a clean, sharp look. What’s more, the fabric is protected when retracted, by full cassette casings around the fabric barrel and folding arms. This keeps the material and operating mechanism from bad weather, not only minimising maintenance but also providing a neat appearance.
Patio and deck canopies also come with optional ambient accessories, including LED strip writing built into the underside. As well as emitting low-glare infrared heating, it generates a warm white glow that doesn’t blow away into the wind, allowing you to continue using your patio awning long into the evening.
Built to Last
Fully compliant with European Directive EN13561 standards, our awnings are built to withstand everything that is thrown at them. For the framework, extruded aluminium is used, ensuring that your awning is both corrosion-resistant and highly durable. We use drop forging and pressure die casting for the joints and stainless-steel components to hold everything together. This allows us to guarantee that our folding-arm outdoor awning systems are strong and resilient.
